Symptoms of Mesothelioma

It it's initial stage the symptoms are never really present, it's only until the cancer begins to form and grow that you may feel it pressing on a nerve or other organ in your body.

Mesothelioma in the chest is more commonly known as pleural mesothelioma, the symptoms for this may consist of :
  • Weight loss without dieting.
  • Pain in the lower back.
  • High temperature and sweating.
  • Swallowing difficulties.
  • Breathing difficulties.
Mesothelioma in the stomach or abdomen is more commonly know as peritoneal mesothelioma the symptoms of this may consist of :

  • Loss of appetite.
  • Pain and swelling in the abdomen.
  • Weight loss without dieting.
If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical advice immediately, even if you don't have all the symptoms and maybe you may have other symptoms that could relate to any form of cancer see you GP immediately. The earlier a cancer is caught and diagnosed the higher the success rate of the treatment.
